Still In Touch came from a quiet decision to step away from the rush and noise of everyday life, using stillness as a way to return to myself. The images were made on a calm Sunday evening at Hendon Beach, Sunderland during a moment when I felt mentally overwhelmed and needed space to breathe. Standing before the open horizon, I experienced the sea as both a real and emotional space ,a place of release, reflection, and quiet renewal. The steady rhythm of the waves softened the noise within, bringing me back to presence. Through solitude and simplicity, the work speaks about reconnection not as escape, but as restoration. Still In Touch is an invitation to pause, realign, and regain clarity before moving forward again.
