“Built by Hand” is a portrait of Dare — a young Nigerian mechanic who chose entrepreneurship over the university path, building a business from the ground up. In a country where about 85.6% of the workforce operates informally, and millions of youths are locked out of formal jobs, workshops like his become schools, employers, and lifelines. Through apprenticeship, Dare trains others like him — not just to fix cars, but to build stable, self-sustaining lives with their hands.
